I never posted pics of my packing...sorry!  Something tells me that you really are not disappointed!  It was a total mad dash to get packed and to the airport in time to catch my flight out.  Funny how it happens that time just disappears!  No worries Dolls, Vegas was great.  We picked up some great new lines...I am not telling you anything...you will just have to check in with us for all the new good stuff!

As good as it is to go...it is always better to come home!  I totally missed my Hali Bear puppy...she is too adorable for words!

While I was in Vegas, Royal Expressions received some great NEW pieces in store!  I could not be happier or more excited about all of the new arrivals.  Let me see, I would like one of those, and that one and well...can I please have one of everything?  LOL!

Alexander McQueen Dead at 40

I was completely blown away when I turned on my TV this morning (very early on my day off, like 6am) and tuned it to E News.  Across the bottom I read that McQueen was found dead at his home in London.  I am in shock!  I have always loved McQueen's cutting edge fashions.  What a tragic, tragic loss of not only a great pioneering fashion designer but a true artist.  We have all lost the BEST Brit Designer of our generation who has inspired so many other designers.  May Peace be with Lee McQueen and his family.

ViVa Las Vegas

Right now, in my mind, I am running through what I will pack for my buying trip to Las Vegas next Monday.  I am so excited...I cannot wait to arrive in Las Vegas.

Lots of black will dominate my wardrobe along with rocking jeans.  I love jeans, so it is only obvious that I will have half of my suitcase full of bootcut and skinny leg jeans.  Black, magenta and red heels will be in my suitcase too.  A spattering of 3/4 sleeve tops, some blouses and maybe a jacket or two will also make the trip to Las Vegas with me.  I will post pics of some items when I start my packing...so check back.

I will be in Las Vegas for a whole week this buying trip and could not be happier to leave behind the Minnesota cold for some Las Vegas warmth.

Our first market day we will be at MAGIC, then Project the following day and the last day will be ENK.  Chanel (my most amazing business partner) and I always work well together, even at market!  Chanel has such a wonderful eye for fashion and pushes me to bring new, new things into our Boutique.  I tend to play it safe way too often and I am so thankful for my wonderfully talented business partner.  We always have a good time at market, even though buying for our Boutique is a lot of hardwork and a fine balancing act of brining in all the right pieces for our store and customers.

BIRTHDAY PARTY FUN & LAUGHS

Yesterday, yes...Super Bowl Sunday (SOOO HAPPY THE SAINTS WON THE SUPER BOWL) I attended my nephew's 3rd Birthday Party!  WOW, was it fun.  Good food, cake and ice cream (YUMMY) and family...what more could a girl ask for!  My nephew is totally all boy and cute as can be.  He is really a daddy's boy and mommy's boy too...but for some reason I always manage to sneak him aside and spend sometime with him before he notices that I am not mommy or daddy!  He made a haul of loot for his birthday.  My little nephew is into costumes, super heros, guns, chainsaws...total boy like I said.  His parents bought him this great big nerf gun...he loved it!  He spent the afternoon launching these sponge bullets at us all and then he would kackle wildly if he hit his target...one of us!  Mind you...all this is going on while he is wearing his new super hero costume he received from his grandpa.  I rather loved how his new costume coordinated with his nerf gun!  The total laugh of it all was the "butterfly necklace" that blew bubbles that my mom (his grandma) gave him!  Notice the pink cord it hung from around his neck in the pic below!  Totally too funny that this "all boy" loved his butterfly necklace that blew bubbles.  So, my thoughts are...at three years old, my nephew does have a flair for fashion...a nerf gun that "coordinated" with his super hero costume and he accessorized perfectly with his "butterfly necklace"!
